EFes or VOLE

Postby Narky marky » 15 Jun 2008 19:45

Hi all,
In all the years that we have been going to Icmeler I have drunk EFes, but last year we tried a new drink called VOLE.
It was not in a lot of the bars but i remember drinking it at 3 bells and at tommys bar up near Eden Gardens were we always stop.

Is it still available and has it got into a few more bars this year. :?

We had vole in a few places this year. OH prefers it to efes, says it's not as gassy.

Hi all,
Being a bitter/guiness drinker myself i found it a better drink later on for me. Its not as gassy and if i remember correct it was a bit cheaper then EFes.

But saying that the first thing Mario at Eden Gardens does when we get out of our mini bus is pour us all a couple of cold EFes and then i feel right back at home

EFES OR VOLE

Postby red rob » 16 Jun 2008 16:24

Alright narky marky, that sounds right up your street being cheaper!!! Think your right about Efes being too gassy sometimes . Do what the wife does has 1 Efes says its too gassy then gets a double vodka and coke. Sounds like she will be drinking a lot of Vole 8)

i will be conducting a full two week survey in late september.all beers efes, vole, tuborg, and any others i can lay my lips on will be thoroughly tested, and results will be posted at a later date.(if i can stop shaking long enough)my current preference is an ice cold efes.
