Have you tried Kylie or other kids stores, my mum is 5' 1/4" - and that 1/4" is ohh so important to her. Anyway, that's what she tends to do ~ go to the kids sections or stores and she never has to hem them!

God luck :D

hi try next they have some lovely maxi dresses and their clothers wash really well i have just got some lovely tops

i am 5'7" so don't have a problem with length, I really would love a maxi dress but I wore one the first time round and wonder if I am too old.
I would appreciate an honest opinion , from my lady forum buddies :D
I am 56yrs young!

Not at all skilly! you're as young as you feel, wear what you feel comfortable in.

I love my cut off linen trousers..... but can also be seen in maxi dresses, knee length skirts.....I just give mini's a wide birth.

Thanks JB, I too give minis a miss. The only time I would wear one is with black tights in winter, and then its not that short!
I did minis & midis the first time round also, isn't it funny how fashion keeps coming full circle?
I loved sixties fashion & geometric hairstyles!

I bought a maxi dress on Saturday and I now have a problem, do I wear flat sandals or wedges with it?
My sister says flat sandals but I don't really like them much as they make my feet look big :( .
Any advice would be appreciated.

skilly, either would look great so it comes down to what you'll feel more comfy in and whethere you'd wear the shoes with anything else - luggage weight in mind ha ha

fat feet would be hidden by your dress too - but I bet they're not fat at all
wedges are great and comfy to walk in but if your feet swell or if you went over on your ankle, you may regret it
decisions, decisions - who said this hol lark was easy

I think you're right Fanny, I'll wear what I feel comfortable with.
I have big feet but theyre not fat so i think I'll stick to wedges.

skilly, you could also try kitten heels...... I love these, as I find it incredibly difficult to walk in high heels on some of the block paving they use out there. They look fabulous with a maxi dress, as well as cut offs
