Postby Jozzyd » 04 Jun 2008 19:43

Sorry folks with all the lovely food Turkey has to offer i can't begin to imagine why anyone would want Maccie D's! I want to get away from home when i am on holiday so would NEVER go to McD's. I ate the best food ever last year :P

I must admit I went once, because had been to Marmaris for the night, and had a bad meal in the Chinese in the marina, and left it. So was hungy by 1am.

Personally I am not a big fan of McDonalds prefer KFC, but I’m with you why go all that way and not try the Turkish cuisine or any of the other international food available in Icmeler

I prefer to try the local food. Just that night I went to Mcdonalds it was 1 in the morning and hadn't eaten anything that night as had to leave my meal I had as it was awful, and coz I hadn't eaten needed something to sober me up :D

Have only been to McDonalds once all the times I have been to Turkey. It was late one night in Marmaris.
The burger wasn't for me, it was for a stray dog that was following us.

If you fancy a burger pop down to the Erdem cafe - far better than a bic mac!

Scared of getting burger. Had one at Grand Aquarium for lunch one day and it was full of grit, scared of trying one anywhere now.

Excellent burgers at Erdem cafe. We went every afternoon about 4pm. Chicken kebab sandwich good too, and only 2.5 lira.

Jozzyd

Head down to the beac and the Erdem cafe is just next door to the big Aqua hotel.

So if you're walking down the main canal (with the Venice, Majestic and bazaar) at the bottom take a right and keep walking for about 5 mins.
If you're walking down the main road from Harry's Steakhouse, past Mandalin restauarnt, Cupids and L'etolie hotel when you get to the beach path turn left and you're right there.

It's a great place to go for a snack as it's so shady, serivce and quick and it's cheap - they also do great doners (eat in or take away).

I bet he did Polly.

No I didn't feed my burger to dog jozzyd. Learnt my lesson last year in Marmaris, there were stray cats at a restraunt in the harbour of marmaris, was full and had food left, so was feeding the cats, there was a little one and the big ones kept pushing it out the way, so stupid me thought I'd hand feed it, it scratched my hand and drew blood.
