High factor sun creams

There's nothing worse than looking like a tomatoe on your hols.

Awww sorry colette. Don't feel bad, I didn't take any P20 with me to Benidorm coz didn't think I'd need it and I was like a tomatoe.

Like you yasar21 I have burnt on the odd occasion many years ago, but now usually only use a factor 2 oil (avon) apart from if any tender bits start to get a bit pink

By the way, good luck with the wedding and keep away from secluded balconies...... you never know when RedRhino's about with his camera

I have cheated a bit this year, and been on the sun beds so i dont have so many white bits

P20 is brill thats what i put on my shaved head

I nearly bought P20 this year but at the weekend i went to Matalan. They do a range of suncreams called Calypso which do a once a day sun protection SPF 20 for £6. Just read the back and it seems to do exactly the same thing as P20. Their normal sun creams were very cheap too.

Although I go very dark I always use a high factor spray.Am trying a different one this year,is BOGOF in superdrug.Start on factor 20 then sometimes move down to 15.People ask how I get so dark using a high factor,as far as I know it just increases the length of time you can stay in the sun without burning.My husband had skin cancer on his face,and had it removed about 8 years ago,very successful.That was a small sore that he thought was caused by shaving but didnt heal up.the consultant said it was probably caused by him being in South Africa for twelve years in the late 60s/70s.So be careful,it can take a very long time to show itself.Happy holidays!

I've bought that one from Calypso Annie, sounds like it does the same thing, and it's alot cheaper.

Lets hope it works then Steve! Im hoping it will be ok for the kids too as they hate putting on Suncream. You would think I was torturing them by the fuss they make
