Faber Apartments

Postby pitbull » 01 Jun 2008 10:45

Hello
This is the first time on the forum and already asking for help.We have been to Turkey before and enjoy the place. So after a couple of years holidaying elsewhere we want to go back in 2009. Icmeler has been recommended to us as a beautiful family resort which is whatb we want. I found the faber Apartments so doe,s anybody know anything about them ,like the location and are they any good. Any info would be welcome. Thanks.

Hi Pitbull,

Welcome to the forum.
Sorry can't help with apartment questions, but as for Icmeler it is fantastic. I have been to loads of places in Turkey, and it is by far the best. From the very young to the older generation, I have never heard anyone say they didn't like it.
Give it a go, you wont be disappointed.

We looked around the faber apartments last year after using there pools, the rooms are really good with clean new decor. The location is in the old village, we stayed in a apartment next door and the walk did not bother us its about 5 minutes to the centre of icmeler and 10/15 minutes to the beach  8)

we are just back from icmeler staying at faber apart.
the apartments are nice, but we felt they were not as clean as last year(think they were having problem with cleaners).staff are nice and guys at pool and bar ,especially adam are brilliant. would definately go back

Faber

Stayed at the Faber in May this year. Sorry to say that we found hassle from the bar to eat and drink there, and when we did not we were ignored. The location is in the old village, only ten minutes walk from the main bars and restaurants. We certainly did not go on holiday to be prisoners to the Faber. as we enjoy going to different restaurants and bars. The pool area is really lovely and the rooms would be great if they cleaned them. The balcony was only brushed once in four weeks. One evening I went to the bathroom and the cleaner had soaked the floor and toilet seat... probably with the shower and had not moped it. Certainly would have reservations about returning. Pm me if you want any further information.

EDIT: Thread now locked as Faber is not an ICR apartment
