I agree terrorism an strike anywhere. if we're that concerned then don't go in the sea. I for one will be if I see a shark, well, to me thatll be a bonus.

What next. Terrorist attack , bird flu, now sharks, smoking ban. There seems to be something every year.
I love Icmeler and none of the above will stop me.

Postby jack69 » 01 Jun 2008 16:45

Dont forget your shark repellant spray along with your factor 100 sun cream /after sun /mossie repellent /and most of all hasseling trader repellent. Just have a good time and forget about sharks you have more chance of being eaten with a kangeroo in wigan park (plse think of this YOU ONLY GET EATEN ONCE)

Years ago on a boat trip, we done the normal swim stop which we were all enjoying until the crew started shouting to us to get back into the boat.
There was a small shark swimming beside us  . I have never moved so fast in my life

Shark steak and chips is nice I had it in a restaurant here once.

I don't mind. I'm not a beach person, prefer the pool. Can't stand sand on my feet when there wet.

Dont worry guys they have some sharks in Gokova region that are not at all dangerous to humans and dont come anywhere near where people go swimming. The recent reports are of a shark around the coast near Turunc which is apparently giving birth, the area has been cordoned off to protect the shark NOT THE HUMANS!!!! The sharks around Gokova have been there for years.
