I play my Turkish cd's all the time, I've got about 300+ Turkish songs on my pc have fired some on a disc and listen to them in the car aswell

Do think the music could be updated in Icmeler though i was sick of it ,everywhere you went it was the same songs, think thats why i ended up in the Havana everynight they didn't play all the old cheesy tunes!

Fanny, I feel in the holiday mood every weekend, it starts Friday night and ends on Sunday night :D
Seriously though I agree with Jula, I do wish they would play some different kinds of music, I know its not dance music but what about a bit of Snow Patrol or Keane for a change?
I love music but I like variety. Did anyone watch Britains Got Talent? I think Andrew Muir from Scotland is a star of the future. He has a really unusual voice . Sorry for going off topic but he is a singer

Hahaha what we like eh!

I really don't mind all the Turkish tunes but they ones i mentioned above oh my god i detest them nowadays, honestly all the bars must have the same cd's because you knew what was coming on next, the minute cha cha slide came on i knew it was time for me to leave. I still actually can't listen to that song now

Deeper in the Night i don't mind actually loved all they guys dancing to that, even though it's being doing it's rounds since early to mid 90's

Admin just tried your link to you tube and comes up page cannot be found.Am intrigued now!
Yep loads of great sounds here that never see the light of day there, loads of turkish stuff that doesnt see the light of day either.Mind we always reckon the lads have to get folks up dancing...but they'd rather just dance themselves

Don't get me wrong because I do love the place and the people but the music and entertainment being the same everywhere you go drives me mad. I spoke to a few people last year that felt the same way and from other peoples comments I'm not the only one. I'd hate to think that any of the bars lose custom because of this though and they're carrying on with it because it works for them. I did leave one bar last year when they said Michael Jackson was coming on, thought I'd have a walk down to the Deniz Kapisi only to be told when I got there "You're just in time we have MJ arriving on his speed boat any minute " Aaaaarrrrgh!

Now your gone - Basshunters.

Yes Skilly I saw Andrew Muir on Britains got talent, thought he was really good, his voice reminded me very much of Paulo Nutini (sp). Hope he wins but I think one of the "teenyboppers" will get it this year.

haydn I think you might mean "deeper in the night" not "people in the night"-this is sung by a woman and is on in most bars! Its by Marrissa Turner
