Quad safari

Just wondered if anybody else has done this trip. Would like to say that we did it last year for the 1st time, and not only was it expensive[£40],certainly not worth the money, but the company that run it were not very safety aware, we had one scottish man who openly admitted that he had only just left the bar an hour earlier and was obviously worse for wear, despite his drunken appearance he was allowed to go ahead with the trip, which could have been dangerous.

Mind you we always chuckle on the boat trips when it's suggested that we go for a swim to sober up - mad or what!!

It does sound quite expensive, would love to try it though. Would you reccommend it if that guy who went on your trip wasn't there ? I was considering taking my Wife, Daughter (16yrs) and her Friend (also 16 yrs) on this trip but the more I think about it the more daunting it becomes...

We did the this last year good fun, but if you do go wear old clobber
as the dust is terrible, it gets everywere.

Even if we didn't have the drunken scott on the trip it was one of those trips that were ok, but you wouldn't do again, especially at that price.
As a new topic anybody got any views on trips they would recommend. Or
how about hireing a jet ski for 20 mins [about £15] now that is good fun.

Here's one for you.

Last year we went on the Jeep Safari, we had a great day out and couldn't fault it. There was one guy (Turkish) who accompanied us for the duration of the day and took it in turns travelling and videoing each party on the trip. That was fine as he did ask us all if we had any objections and there would be a nominal charge for the CD of which he would edit when we got back. What a nice memory it would have been - especially if there was anything on it when we got home !!!!!! I will be taking it back this year and (if I can find him) ask him to show it to me...

A lot of those that didn't work on dvd players were actually jpgs or vcd format so try putting it in your pc then open the drive right click and then open and see what is there.

we went on that jeep safari when we went to icmeler for the first time in 2004. we really enjoyed and could not fault it either. Like you we also bought the CD, however our one works fine, it works on the computer and on one of our DVD players but not on the other. i think thats the fault of the dvd player tho.
im glad we bought it, even though we have only watched two or three times it is a nice memory to have. but the quality is not great and it is very bumpy.....but then you are on jeep safari so that is what you would expect.

Guess What !!!!!

It may not have worked on my old PC but I had another look last night on the PC we bought the kids last Christmas and we're there !!!!!
Watching us at the Waterfall on the Jeep Safari is certainly an eye opener - I thought I had a 'six pack' My wife now tells me that she was refering to the 6 pack of Carling that I have stuck in my belly. Time to get the scales out !!!!!!!!!!!

Mark its not that the pc was old that is at fault it is because you never had the new type of software needed to run the disc.

Always keep updated with software to view movies and generally do eveything on your pc.
