I also have a bangle that has stones at the front, but one is missing.
It was not very expensive and I got it in the UK but it has much sentimental value.
I was going to take it to Icmeler last year but forgot.
I saw a place which is directly underneath ICR offices that repairs jewellry and I was going to take it there this year. Has anyone ever used this jeweller?

I have used this jewellery repair shop. Not very good. I was quoted £ 25 pound to reset some amber earings when I went to pick them up the price was £ 50 . I would have said stuff it but they were bought for me by my daughter. He did a really good job and they are lovely but I was annoyed at the price increase. He said the gold that was on them was not as good a quality as he thought it was but being a jeweller he should have done. It may not be the same people and if it has changed hands my apologies as this was about three years ago.

"In Turkey ANYTHING is possible" - how many times have we all heard that??!!

I can recommend the Sultan Jewellers under the Prince Apartments.

I've bought lots of jewellery from them, sold a fair bit of gold back to them , had jewellery fixed by them (doesn't matter where it came from!) and even just popped in for a chat and been served chilled wine - lovely people!

Anything that needs mending is ususally done in 24 hours too - I never get anything fixed here, always wait until I get to Icmeler!

I agree with you mazz.Sultans is very good.Hamdi is most helpful. We've bought jewellery from him and bought our wedding rings from him four years ago.And like you said,if you just want to pop in for a chat theres always a cold efes waiting.
