Yes it was a shame about the cruise - had been looking forward to it, but hey I'm even more pleased I can go home twice in one year 8) 8)

Managed to get flights for £144 each, have booked Blue Rainbow and arranged transfers through good old ICR (thanks guys!!!) and am now on my countdown of sleeps

I gather there is a chance of rain, but hope it keeps away - it wouldn't dare while I'm there

Sorry about your cruise being cancelled, but I am sure you will have a great time in Icmeler. I was there the first two weeks in May last year and the weather was fine with the exception of the odd thunderstorm in the evening.

Have a great time.

Was there last year beginning of May and apart from 1 or 2 days with some rain weather was fantastic.

Shame about your cruise but at least you got something sorted for Icmeler  I'm sure you'll have a great time.

CARDI'S?! You'll be fine without them, it will feel positively tropical compared to here when you arrive, :D I've been in early May for the last few years and even if it's been dull the odd day or had an odd shower, (and this has only happened on one or two days) it was still warm.

I'm with Bec on the vodka thing, not even a shiver after a couple  , and I'm sure good old Effes has the same effect eventhough i'm not a lager drinker

Have a great time, and if you take a cardi, you will only need a light one.

We went on the 1st of May a few years back, and it was scorching but not unbearable - best time of the year for me :) Have a great time.

Thanks for all your advice about the weather, I'm feeling a bit more positive about it now. Just packed most of our bits tonight, and put a cardi in for good measure (I hate cardis so wont be wearing it unless I really am frozen!!!)

Just 2 more days to get through at work and I will be free....I'm so excited now.
