Heavan bar, yes a great place for lunch, especially when the lovely fatma is working.

yes she is the one who smiles from ear to ear and has a certain way of saying "hello darling", very pretty and a nice figure, heard on the grapevine that she will not be working there 2006!

Perhaps this might be another [icmeler in the old days when it was better].

My recommendations for where to eat in Icmeler:

1. The Lighthouse - wonderful steaks, fish and Turkish cuisine (desserts to DIE for!)

2. Chef - you get the fresh pitta bread here to have with mezzes - gets busy so best to book a table late afternoon

3. The Wayside - this restaurant opened last year it's situated around the corner near the Tansas. Run by Hamdi and Ozkan (formerly of the Love Boat) the food is really excellent. It also gets very busy and you may have to wait a little while for a table - but worth the wait!

4. Erdem cafe down on the beach next to the Aqua hotel - food and drinks much cheaper here - I usually visit for lunch and again late evening for drinks, it's got a very "chilled" feel about it

The Titanic is a very good place to eat, only discovered it last year and ended up going 3 times. It is down the road from Tansas on the opposite side.

I have eaten in Titanic - excellent meal. We were invited in for free coffee one evening after I mention Icmeler-online and HT site. Whilst chatting he asked me what my favourite diah was, lamb came my reply. When we went in for our meal a few days later he rememberd and came over with a piece of lamb on a fork for me to try. I was amazed he even remembered me let alone my favourite dish was lamb. A little more expensive than some places but well worth it. Di.

Hello i always have my sunday dinner at the champange bar they are really nice and do either lamb or beef.

if you walk up to the vilamar hotel and go down one of the side streets on the right it is at the end of there just by the Tolan Apartments

i am not to sure diane, we walked out of the tolan to the end of the road and stumbled across it, it is very quiet there though

i will be trying the Chef this year, which one it is there are two Chef's. Also i have heard the lighthouse is very good. The venice is good but it is very loud there i like to eat my meals in peace to.

The Titanic and Pyramid also also very good. If you want a snack try Cafes Annes they do fantastic sweet panackes and waffles

There is only one chef restaurant in the town centre now as the chef 2 is now another restaurant and as usual it is empty.

I have looked at that spot for years and always struggles for customers.

There is another chef called the chef inn on the crossroads in the village facing aussies restaurant.

Right opposite the Blue Rainbow is a fantastic restaurant called Amalia. The food is out of this world, the staff are friendly and the night entertainment is very enjoyable. Definately worth a try. New owners this year so if any one went last year and doesnt agree i would strongly recommend going back to try again! Hope this helps. Have a nice holiday .

yes georgina i agree with you. Amalia restaurant is definately worth a try. great food, the chef is amazing, good staff and good prices . strongly recommended.
