hello everyone, i feel i know you all as i have been browsing the site since i got my computer nearly two years ago but have only just plucked up courage to join.i have been going to icmeler with my husband twice a year since 1993 but due to his ill health we are unable to go this year,so i am relying on you guys to let me know how things are out there this season

thanks maryb and lynnjenny for your good wishes.we have stopped every time at the efes inn and feel like family.the staff all helped me with my husband and it was very central with lots of nice restaurant around.we used to visit lots of different restaurant etc it has only been this last two years we have not ventured far.we missed the little train as well.it was a great way to get round the resort.

thanks to reesy1959,ochlynda and kazz59 for all your good wishes.i have lovely memories of icmeler and look forward to living my dream of going back one day.in the mean time i look forward to hearing all the news of your holidays and seeing your photos.my favourite restaurants were the famous old kitchen which has since closed,jimmys,the chef,love boat....i could go on for ever and ofcourse cafe annies for afternoon tea and gateaux !!!!!!!!!!!!!if anyone wants to pm me i will be pleased to hear from you

Sorry you cannot go to Icmeler this year. I hope your husbands health improves. I think you should give advice on this forum to newbie's like me, given that I have only been once. Your experience would probably be great information. Keep posting.

well donna have the first slice of cheese cake at annes by the coco beach,i like this one the most because it is right on the front and you can watch the world go by,then have your other slices at the one on the road that leads up towards vinces,its on the same side as vinces about 100yds beyond..............i am still working in feet and inches.

hello arinsal,i have found a lot of changes in icmeler over the years,some of which were good and some not so good,the thing that never changes is the kindness of the turkish people.you will find this on your visits.pop into icr and you will find they have lots of excursions for you to enjoy.dont try to eat and drink your way around the resort,i failed miserably ! ! !
