You can't beat icmeler. And you have Turunc so near for a laid back chilled day, or you have the bright lights of Marmaris for a lively night out, but I couldn't stay in marmaris or Turunc.

We said that if we had gone to Marmaris for our first holiday in Turkey we doubted if we would have returned. So glad we chose Icmeler.

We enjoy going to Marmariss for a couple of nights while we are there, but we said the same thing if we were staying there we prob would not like turkey as much.

I went to Marmaris once to stay there, in 1995 I swore I would never return to Turkey, Hated it.

Then I discovered Icmeler

Went to Side once as well hmm nice place, quite historic on the walk to the town, but at the time it only catered for the Germans

Think with marmaris you could be anywhere ie spain whereever, it doesn't have the uniqueness of icmeler.

i was going to book mamaris for our first turkey holiday but got a deal to icemeler went to mamaris and lasted 20 mins before taxi boat home
just so glad we didnt stay there wasnt for us
we love icemeler so much this be our 4th time and we bringing my mum and dad too also my friend anne will be heading before us as i cant stop my rave reviews

Mum and Dad love getting the taxi boat to Marmaris and wandering round there and walking up the beach path etc, stopping at several bars mind you

They went to Kusadasi years ago but said it wasn't as nice as Icmeler.
