coffee?

i have always been reading on here, and richard( hubby) joined last year, but i couldnt remeber the log in name......but have now found it after doing some searching...

we should have been going to cyprus this year, but cancelled that, and rebooked for icmeler after visiting for the first time, last year...i fell in love with the place!

where can i go to get a nice cup of coffee? the coffee where we stayed wasnt too nice, and i miss a good cuppa!

this place is a mine of information, and thankyou all for all the tips i have picked up

Hi Karen welcome to the forum.We found a lovely new place last year called Karma it serves lovely tea and Coffee,its around the corner from Baron beside police station.

i am really excited to be going back in july this year, and have even booked just for me and hubby to go in sept, first time without the children!!!!!

we looked for the ICR offices last time but couldnt find them but we did do transfers with them!

as rich likes a lie in, i am happy to wander on my own, and want to have a nice coffee early doors....

I agree with Dianne, in all the years I have gone to Icmeler, the Karma is the only place I have ever found to get a decent brew, tea or coffee, Kevin from HT tells us they have different coffee's etc to choose from

I thought where you stayed was were you had tea & coffee and the bars and restaurants were for drinking Efes Bacardi Brandy Raki Cocktails and so on or do I have a problem.

I can't go without coffee and I like good coffee, I have to say I've had some pretty grotty stuff while in Icmeler over the years.

The best places I've found are: The Lighouthouse, Chef (cuppacino) and the Olive Tree.

Having said that it's always so blimmin' hot I stick to drinking ice cold Efes , Voddy or Water (not for breakfast though... )

Some hotels have started to put out sachets of coffee for breakfast which is so much better than stewed, weak stuff!

I must say I do like cay and Ayran, it's taken me several years but I've definitely got a taste for both now!

The Karen cafe has the best coffee and tea all english owners has also been open all winter had some cuppas in there 2 weeks ago, but may be up for sale, Baron bar stops all his trade in the summer

Barry was it the Karma cafe you went to.

I popped in a few times last year for a nice cup of Marks and Spencers tea in giant cups and as I don't take milk or sugar then the quaility of the tea needs to be good and I can vouch for the quality of this place.

He did tell us he was going to buy a second place to open, but I have forgotten where he said it was going to be

Can they have a little recomended by ICR flag this year

Nicest coffee I've had in Icmeler is at the Pension Ida and Mandalin.
Pension Ida do the nicest snacks too!

I dont drink coffee, but always find it murder to get a good cup of tea. But you can't beat the apple tea it's refreshing any time of the day.

I dont drink tea or coffee but my family do and they said they loved the tea and coffee from cafe annes, which is on the corner just ahead from the barons resturant. They also make some gorgeous scones and chocolate cake yum
