Hi Steve Much nicer to book the trip through ICR then no worries about taxes etc: Think we only paid about £20 ish and had an absolutely fabulous day. Don't forget to get some currency changed though. Will post some pics of Rhodes soon if you are interested. :) :)

I wouldnt compare it to Icmeler or Marmaris but it is nice to see a completely different country - culture esspecially when its only 45 minutes away. Also, may make you appriciate Turkey a little more...(maybe not for some so no pressure) :)

Prices are almost double the prices in Turkey thanks to EU. Anyone else want Turkey to join the EU? :)

I agree with Rami. We loved visiting Rhodes and really enjoyed it. Nice to see a different culture and country and you don't have to go mad buying stuff to enjoy that. Having said that I bought a really lovely pair of handmade leather sandals there (certainly cheaper than I would have bought them in England and they are soooo comfortable) and dare I say it better than any I have bought so far in Turkey. The best part of the day though was coming home to Icmeler. Nothing beats our slice of heaven on earth, just makes you appreciate it all the more. :D :D
