Blue Rainbow Hotel

Postby lesleyr » 15 Jan 2008 10:56

I have just booked to stay at the Blue Rainbow Hotel again but cannot remember the room number we had last year and would love the same room again it was at the back of the hotel at the end of the corridor so we could see over the pool area and also had a sea view. Does anybody out there know the answer? :?:

Cheers. Hopefully we will be able to have one of those rooms, the hotel was pretty quiet in May last year. Can't wait to get away from this awful weather :(

Hi Lesleyr.
Me and my motley crew are in the process of sorting out our holiday to Icmeler for 2008 and have looked at the Blue Rainbow as a possible place to stay. Can you recommend ??. We are a family of 6, 2 adults, a 10 year old, 14 year old and 1 16 year old and his girlfriend.
Thanks

Hi,

The Blue Rainbow is good value for money. The food is a bit basic but you expect that. We usually book Breakfast only because there are so many wonderful restaraunts to visit. The rooms are clean and the staff friendly and the hotel is in awonderful location. Pool is also very clean

Well worth staying there

Yes its really nice hotel, we only did b & b because we like to eat in different places and there are so many available. The location is great near the centre and beach ( about 2 mins walk) but down a side road. Rooms were nice and staff helpful, the only thing that might put people off with young children is there is no childrens pool and no shallow end as such. Have you been online and looked at the video? :P

Yes but its not really shallow enough for toddlers. Being really selfish I liked it because it meant there wern't any really young children there, at least not in May there weren't. Can't wait to get back hope we don't have any storms this year though! :o

We stayed at the Blue Rainbow 3-4 times now.... The pool is great, but I'm 5'5" and the water in the "shallow end" came up to my shoulders, so beware if you are taking young children who can't swim.

Breakfasts are OK if you like the traditional Turkish breakfast, which I love, they do have cereal, sometimes scrambled egg (I think that's what it is LOL) and chips (ugh the thought of chips for breakfast, but I suppose some people like them). There's always the toaster on the go, and jam, honey, so really plenty of choice. Wouldn't stay more than B & B though, as too many good restaurants to choose.
