Just to let you know I have found a restaurant in Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire called the Efes I have not tried it yet but I hear it does lively food, so anyone living in this area and you need your fix of Efes give it a bash.

Hi Clare,

I dont mean run as in using my legs I ment in the car.

Colette would soon have jumped on that phrase.

Hi it is on Outram Street you will pass it on the way to Aldi or Lidle, only a small place from the front the sign is in white and orange.

I have not tried it let me know what it is like.

Yes Redrhino I thought you meant in the car it would be a long run on foot from Chesterfield, you would probably make it in four hours ha ha ha

efes restaurant

Postby denisthefish » 24 Nov 2007 08:04

it might be of some interest to those in the london area, there are two restaurants in the west end of london known as the efes 1 & efes 2,we have used the efes 1 and it was brilliant, just like being in turkey, both these restaurants are owned by the owners of the efes inn hotel in icmeler, but beware the prices are very different from icmeler, but well worth a visit for a special night out.

In manchester there are two Efes Restaurants in the city centre which are very nice. There is also a turkish supermarket called Venus. They stock Efes and all the usual things you can buy in the mini markets in icmeler. In the supermarket they have a bakery where you can buy freshly made turkish bread and freshly made turkish pizza's. So now and again my other half and myself take ourselves down there on a saturday night and treat ourselves to a couple of crates of Efes and turkish pizza and its only about 2 miles away.

If you're looking to buy Efes here, try Tesco - they do it.

I buy a few bottles when I'm feeling blue and missing Icmeler.
