3-17 sept 07

Well flew with Onur air-was delayed for about 3hours in total...walking out to the plane and was shocked to see a "Saudi Arabian Airlines" plane..had to check we were getting the right plane..sat on runway for about 30mins too!

Had a great 2weeks and took 377 photos on one card and 464 on another,no idea how but they all seem to be good pictures haha.

Gene you will be sooo proud of me i tried 3new places to eat!!!

Threebells-of course i eat in here alot, food was lovely as ever.Had the korean food again and anyone going must give it a try its gorgeous.Guys made our holiday once again..as we were stayin in the aparts so nothing was too much trouble.

Noel Restaurant- spent alot of time in here also, the guys were great.Lovely seeing them all again. So happy for Leon and hope its just the start.Had a few meals in here and was lovely, recommend the mexican chicken yummy. My friend done the Turkish mock wedding here, arriving on camel etc,was so funny.

Marios-went to the Turkish night here,Belly dancer,Magic show,Breakdancers-great night.Ate a few times in here...must try the pizzas by the way, they are gorgeous.

Deniz Kapisi-went here a few nights for the entertainment. One night not too sure what it was but lots of people dancing, costumes etc.Michael Jackson on another night.Great as always.

Travellers Rest-first time trying here considering met Christine last March, and wish i would of gone sooner. The food was gorgeous..so we went our last day for dinner too.Highly recommend this place.

Red Lion- Lovely to see Erkan and Gogo here.Big hello to Erkan, know he reads this forum. They guys were lovely couldnt do enough for you..even Ahmet was trying to get the fans working bless.Didnt stay for the entertainment as friends of ours were leaving but will definately be going here again.

Pier 15-i have never mentioned this place, but have been going here for 10years now hehe, always go in the daytime to see our lovely friend Nick who works here.Knows our order all the time-hmmm predictable!! Lovely view of the beach and sea-love it

Only bad meal i had was at Pop Inn-went here for dinner one day and all day it was repeating on me,was sick that night. (Gene this is why i dont try other places haha)Got to say though it was very expensive-charging 13ytl for a large coke, when other places the most is 5-6ytl!!!

Lots of fun nights were had at Eastenders and Pleasure-all the guys are lovely and so welcoming.

Went to the laundry whilst there too-so cheap and is good for Mum when bringing clean clothes home haha.Went to the one just by Moonlight-by travellers rest.

Exchange rate went down to 2.4 but 3bells were still giving us 2.5 which was good.

Got my pic with the green car woo hooo-and have lots and lots of piccies to share, will try and pic the best ones hehe.

Bec xx

Wellcome back Bec and loved your review.
We had a meal in Pop Inn and werent to impressed either, only went in to see David and Fernando.
After 10 years Bec has realised there is more than one street to Icmeler.
It looks as tho you have a lot of pics to upload then Bec.

Did I mention I was going back to Icmeler on Thursday?
13YTL for a large coke bec has got to be a mistake they are only 3 or 4 YTL surely, did you leave a tip?

Great report Bec, sounds like you had lots of fun!

I had my laundry done before I came home too... and they ironed it for free!! it was so good not having to spend the first week back home washing and ironing! Worth every penny!

I also had my beach towels washed regularly - I'd leave my towel with one of the beach boys on leaving the beach in the afternoon and it would be fresh and soft already spread out on my sunbed for the next morning... well worth the 3ytl!

I've never been to the Travellers Rest but have heard good things about the place -it's on my list for next time!

Hi Bec

Just seen a pic of the Three Bells and I now know exactly where it is!! We must have walked past there numerous times but never ventured in  But all will change on the 14th oct when we pop in for our Sunday Lunch (hopefully but nothing ever goes according to plans on our hols :?

Anyway thanks again for your help.

Hey Steve yeah had a fab time loved it..some piccies are up but i'm being very selective haha!!
Marks-i know, wouldnt mind but the bill came to 62ytl for 4toasties and drinks!!..to be honest i'm thinking it may have been because they were getting closed the next day for a week so may have had something to do with it but still
