Hi All,

It is I..........Slats!!!!

Well our tenth visit went very smooth, six in our party. Mum and Dad's second visit staying at the Bonjour. We stayed at our friends house just down the road from the moonlight resturant. First week the weather was spot on a steady 35 with a breeze so mainly on the beach eating at Elif or had a stroll towards Cafe del mar on the way to Marmaris for lunch. Hired a private boat trip for 7 of us, which was a brilliant day calling at many bays. Second week the weather starrted to get hotter with no breeze up to 52 on some days, however stayed on the beach just to grap what little air was available. Mum and Dad with our daughter and friend had a night out to watch talk of the town show which they really enjoyed. All our party except for me, on my birthday due to Turkey trots had a great dayon the jeep safaria, infact my Dad was really pleased as he got to the front and saw the BLUE FISH, thanked Bev all day long, least we could of done. Great meeting so many members like Gail,Steve,Jane,Su,Dodge,Erik the viking(Matt) and had a few drinks with Karen and Glyn at Mitos chill bar. Great time, thank you all. Have lovely meals all over Icmeler which inclued:-

Golden Moon, Harry's steak bar, Titanic, Chef, Loveboat,Olive tree and the Moonlight. Normally drank at the Ida,Charlies,Ozzys and the great Mitos chill bar god we love that place. Three night's Bev and I went down to the beach lay on the sunbeds wiith our bottle of bacardi and coke looking up at the stars, couple of occasions noticed shooting stars flying threw the night sky wowwww. Called in to say hello to the ICR Team lovely chatting to Debbie and Tracey, and all the very best to you next year on the birth of your new born. Still great people in a lovely place, what else could you ask for. So our return will be next September 08, however we are trying Kalkan in Turkey next June for 2 weeks. And finely our last night in Icmeler we bumped into the one and only, the legend, redrhino (Gene)
What a prefect end to our prefect holiday.

thought it was the efes when i was seeing moving light in the sky my mind is at rest now ...... i think i just missed you on the 12th with zaza at his bar
but i'm sure i seen you on the following Wednesday in mitos....(such a relaxed place) i was going to say hello but only 90% sure it was you with your better half.
great post glad you enjoyed......for me role on August 2008 bookig with icr just waiting on reply (hope shaz or john are reading..ha')

glad to hear you enjoyed another holiday to wonderful icmeler,we stayed at the bonjour,2nd time lovely hotel spotless,you never mentioned me on who you met ,well not spoke much but i did shout over to you when you were sitting in one of the places by the bonjour,we are all booked up for next august 15-29th cant wait but this time staying at the lighthouse apts,they are lovely we went in chill bar a few times really quiet was a real shame last year always quite busy,mind you the resort was quiet though,so maybe see you next year have a drink

Hiya Slats... glad you enjoyed your hol... next time we must try that Mitos bar.. must admit it does look chillin when you walk past with all those bean bags and things round the bar... thing is ... I wouldn't want to leave at the end of the night... Probably fall asleep in them!!

How romantic... lying on sunbeds at the night time with bac & coke...star gazing... will have to try that next time....

Hi Steve,

It was lovely to meet up with you and Bev again.

We had a great time did'nt want to come home.
I still need to do my report for this year just hav'nt got around to it yet.

Gail, sorry we missed you this year.
We stayed in the old village as well. Glad you had a good time.

Steve, the girls wanted to go to the Mitos on the canal, we still never got there though. Sorry I missed you and Bev when you came to our apartments. It was good to meet up in the Havana Bar. I have sent Damien some photos of this year in Icmeler.

You old romantic you, on the beach,drinks and looking at stars. You will have to have a word with Andy and point him in the right direction lol.

The last nite, after we saw you and Bev in the Golden Moon, we went back to the old village. Who did we see, Gene,Anne and Andre.
It was lovely to catch up. We stayed and chatted for a while. My two younger girls and Andre seem so grown up. I remember the three of them playing in the Antik pool a couple of years ago.
