Has anyone watched a game live in Turkey. When I was in Istanbul 2005 i went to the Besiktas-Trabzonspor game.It was just like English Football in the 70s-80s.Trabzon were losing and the fans started ripping the seats out and throwing them at the Besiktas fans. The Police put their sheilds over both sets of players as they came onto the pitch BEFORE the game kicked off.
Frightening I can tell you.
I later went to the Fernabache -Man Utd game with some of my friends who were locals.Man U lost 3-0.There was no problem at all .I just sat amongst the local fans BUT didnt sat a word.
