A Good Chinese

Postby Erik The Viking » 01 Aug 2007 19:35

Is there such thing to be had in the 'meler? we went to Kingsland it it was dire - the crispy beef was tiny wedges of hamburger in breadcrumbs!

Anyone know a good 'un?

Hi

We've just returned from 3 weeks in the lovely Icmeler so we did chinese a couple of times  The best was called the Masala which does both Indian and Chinese and the chinese was superb!! We had been at the one next door the previous week which we felt was ok but overpriced!! They are both at the top of the canal. The masala was defo the best of the two and has an ICR recommends flag on the outside.

Enjoy

Have to say the best place for chinese in the 'meler has to be the Majestic (on the canal). Everywhere else we've tried doesnt come close!

Have to agree with Diane, Masala was the best chinese food we had this year. Can't wait to go back there.

Hi

The best Chinese I have had was at the Twin Dragons at the top of the canal. We went there a few times. They also do a set menu for Chinese, Indian or Mexican for £6.99. (3 courses) We did have to wait a while for our meals, but it was worth it. The beef curry is the best I have ever tasted anywhere in Icmeler.

I remember having an outstanding chinese dish from Captain Bulls**ts restaurant. I'll admit it was the only Chinese I had in Icmeler, but I thought it was streets ahead of any I've had back home.

Hi

The Masala is next to the Twin Dragon and across the road from the Sports Bar. Same street as Love Boat restaurant. Hope this helps.
