Stamps/postcards

Hi!
Can anyone please tell me how it works with stamps and postcards? Where can I buy them, where can I post them, and does anyone know how many stamps I have to put on a postcard to send it back home?

The post service in Turkey is not of the best. Can take up to 4 weeks to arrive in UK. What we do is take English stamps with us, write postcard, put English stamp on and ask a nice person going home if they would post them for us in the UK. I guess you could call me a cheap skate.

I sent post cards in June and they only took 5 days to arrive You can get stamps where ever you buy your cards,then post them in yellow post boxes that are dotted around Icmeler.

if you have a walk to the post office on the marmaris road your post cards get home before you do

We sent postcards last year (in August) and are still waiting for them to be delivered

I never bother now, the last post cards I sent one August didn't arrive until the end of the following October!!
I'm quite meall really, I normally send a text to the people I'd normally post a card to - usually when I'm laid out on the beach knowing they're well into work time - you should see some of the replies!

I only do one postcard and that's for work! But I buy it, and take it back with me!!!!

I do write on it however, usually says ' I'm here, glad your'e not!'

Then I put it with the boxes of turkish delight I take back for them.
