In truth I have never really had a bad meal in turkey, some better than others, there are so many good places to eat, you are spoilt for choice, I try to get around as many as I can.

Love Star Restaurant/Bar

Postby ALAN » 20 Jul 2007 19:15

Just back again and cant wait to return. The Love Star restaurant/bar is a welcolme addition to Icmeler , situated in the Old Village and is well worth a visit for a pleasant reaxing meal and of course drink. The food is great ,the steaks are the best and the Full Monty breakfasts cant be beat.
Let me know what you think ,wish i was there

Just got back from a fantastic 2 weeks in Icmeler.

I was at the Love Star Restaurant/Bar most nights.

The staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you.

The meals are fantastic you are spoilt for choice with the large range on the menu. I have to agree the steaks are brilliant and the Turkish meals are delicious especially the Anatolian kebab, which gets served up in a gas wok heated in front of you.

The alcohol is endless with every cocoktail possible and a great FISH BOWL.

Even the kiddies are well looked after with a great kids menu and cocktails.

Fantastic value for money with a friendly and relaxing atmosphere.

A GREAT NIGHT OUT, for everyone.

I'm surprised Prince has only appeared once in this list. The food is absolutely wonderful - there's a new chef this year and he has some kind of magic. Thursday BBQ is just as glasgow girl explained.

My son and daughter are friends with Ozzie - there's a photo of him on the photo gallery "icmeler 07 holiday pics - people" link

I have to add the Chef again - Elvis too has some magic culinary skills.

:D Went to Icmeler last year and ate at lots of restaurants in Icmeler. We found a lovely restaurant ARTEMIS, quite near the beach. We ended up eating there quite alot

We returned in June and going back in August and will be eating at ARTEMIS most times because the food and the people are fantastic.

Jackie and JJ are the owners and the waiters are really friendly, especially Bruce who we keep in touch with all the time, he is lovely.

Jackie has found us accomodation so we can return in August and Bruce is getting us from the airport - now how friendly is that. Just me and my daughter in August but we feel sure they will look after us.

In short ARTEMIS and all the people are fantastic - try it for yourself :D

As everyone say's there are loads of good places to eat, Loveboat Titanic Chef to name a few.

One of the things I always look forward to for lunch, and they never get a mention, is one of those spicy crepes and a cold Effes sat in the shade at Zaffers Cafe

Something I've missed in the last year or so since the old Laughing Startfish changed hands is a good selection of fresh fish. Does anyone know any restaurants that do a nice selection.
