Hi Dodge

We went by Dolmus last year. A bit bumpy and through very high mountainous road but views are fantastic. There also the taxiboat. Not sure how much it costs though. Market day in Turunc is on a Monday but is quite a small market compared to Icmeler.

Hope this helps.

Su :)

I'd recommend going by taxi boat - you can get one at the jetty, not sure how much this year but it takes about 20 mins to half an hour.

We always go by taxi boat.
The only problem I found was that when you got on and off there wasn't a gangway to walk up like when you go on a boat trip, the crew just helped you on and off and I felt unsteady especially in flip flops

Hi Dodge

The last time we went, we got a taxi there. Maybe the Dolmus would be better though, as the taxi is very pricey. Then coming back, we got the water taxi. Both are great, but if you go over the mountain, the views are very spectacular - not to be missed, but it's a bit scary with the hairpin bends and the bumpy road. Either way, you'll have a great day out. Turunc is lovely.

The taxi charged us 5YTL each (5 of us) to go from the Icmeler market to Turunc.
We got the Dolmus back and was charged 4YTL each, again being dropped off at Icmeler market, but we could have travelled all the way to Marmaris for the same price.
