Concrete on the beach

My friend has just had a text from someone there and he has said the beach is much better now the conrete has gone?

Can anyone shed any light on what he means? Does he mean the little path you walk along Icmeler front has gone?

Hmmm no idea Col.
When i was there the walkway at the front was there..i very much doubt they will take this away.
Unless, may mean the jeti's as they were concrete werent they.May be meaning looks better with the new bridges etc

Guess he means all of the concrete jettys have dissapeared and been replaced by smaller stone jettys apart from the new marina complex that is being built at the Gomar end of the beach. Will look very very smart when it is all finished.

ahhh thanks folks I didn't think the path had been demolished I told her she was mad
