Hi there,
my wife and i have been regular visitors to
Icmeler now for the last 12 years....yup, 12 years! and we're only 30somethings...just! Anyway, 12 years ago we stumbled out of our apartments for some breakfast, and have been returning to Moonlight ever since! GReat friends with Mehmet, his family and his staff, sad i know, but wouldnt go any where else!
Location - easy to find; if you come out of Tansas, theres a road more or less in front of you, walk down that road past a few english restaraunts and you will find moonlight, at night time the tree outside is lit up with xmas lights.
Trust me, you cant go wrong!!!
Enjoy!!

For anyone who remembers Charlie and King Solomon who were head waiters at the Lighthouse restaurant the year before last - this season they've gone into partnership and are running the restaurant under the Bonjour hotel.
The food is excellent - i can recommend the honey glazed chicken and chocolate cheesecake. They also make excellent cuppacinos and the house wine is very good! Very good value for money!
They also do a very nice full English breakfast for about £2.50!
I've added it to my list of favourites now!

A new restaurant has just opened that i would highly recommend.
It is called the Love Star Restaurant/Bar.
It has a livley and very friendly atmosphere for a great night out.
It is towrds the old village and serves a wide range of turkish cusine, aswell and the traditional leg of lamb, roast dinner and much more there is even a kiddies menu for the little ones.
There is even a large drinks menu with beers, cocktails, spirits and the FISH BOWL.
Food and drink all at good prices.

Moonlight is fantasatic ,
Only place I wouldn't suggest is Charleys by the cartier
hotel , Chicken salad served with thousand island dressing after 50 minute wait!

Two of the Restaurents that were always full while we were there, were
the Bonjour Restaurent and the Lighthouse Restaurent, stood side by side to each other.
I was always hearing good reports of the food and service at these two places.
I liked the Dream 3 Bells the best of those that I visited, but admit to not visiting the two restaurents above.

I agree, the Moonlight is an excellent restaurant.
We had a meal at the Bonjour last year. The food and service was spot on.
Another good restaurant is Charlies opposite the Tansas, it does lovely pasta dishes.
The Lemon Tree is another good one, we went there for my husbands birthday last year.
There is also a great Turkish restaurant/soup kitchen, past the Lost Boys/Antik end of the road turn left and it is on the right. It does not look much but the food is cheap and very good.

One of my favourite restaurants is the Prince . The food and service is fabulous, especially the ottoman menu. We have been a few times on a thursday night to the turkish theme night and its the best we've been too (and we've been a lot of places over the years!). You can eat from the massive turkish BBQ buffet and watch a variety of entertainment from traditional turkish wedding and dancing, belly dancing, breakdancing and some hilarious antics from the staff. Koray as Tina Turner and Bayram as Ricky Martin had us in stitches!! Your ticket automatically enters you into a raffle where you can win anything from booze to a free meal. This place is well worth a visit!

Hi Diane
It finally clicked when you said kaya. That what he wears on his name badge! Not sure who eric is, am wondering if he's behind the bar. Kaya is a lovely guy, he was trying to perfect his scottish accent when we were there. Told him if i heard the words 'there's a moose loose aboot this hoose' again, i was gonna strangle him
There all a lovely bunch and with you going for 21days (lucky sod!) you'll have plenty of laughs there! Have a fab time when it comes round to you!!
