The Irish Bar is now what used to be Pulse 8 bar, it is right infront of the Private Hotel and just around the corner from Dreamboys on the canal, down the little side road.

Me being Irish went there. Never seen a dance show like it in a bar over here!!! Sorry but i wanted the fiddly dee music, the craic the real guiness and the fairys at the end of the garden. Isnt that what you are supposed to see in an Irish Bar?? having said that the guys were really nice and very polite but i just wanted something just a wee bit different from all the other bars. However will give it a go again

Try Charlies opposite the Taj Mahal. Leo is married to an Irish girl and the craic is good.

I'm with Victoria on this one. I think that type of bar would go down very well in Icmeler.
Gene, I hope you haven't brought all the pink elephants home with you as I aim to see a few myself a week Monday maybe a genie or two or should that be a gin or two or more.
Don't know where the Taj Mahal is either I always thought they were talking about the one in Marmaris.

It is a shame the name has changed, Who else remembers it from when it was called Pulse8

I wonder if any of these still work there ?

I remember this bar when it was Pulse 8, we used to always go in there in the daytime cos it was a nice cool position that always seemed to get a nice breeze.

I know that Mehmet ( the 1st one in the line) will not be there this year as hes now moved to Scotland with his wife and i have a feeling that Ibo (Mehmets brother, the 1 in the blue top) will also not be there as hes been doing his army.

Mehmet was managing Hob Nobs Bar last September and his brother was working with him.
He said he was moving to Scotland with his wife last November.
Okan, who used to manage Pulse 8 was working in a bar opposite the romance Bar last year.
We have had many good nights there in the past.
Last year the guy in the pic who drives a motorbike was still at Pulse 8, I have forgotten his name but he could do a great belly dance.

We went in cos hubby Irish and he asked for fiddly dee and they did put a couple on but didnt really have much we had Fields of Athenry about 5 times and Tell me ma a few more but the bar is really good fun we ended up there most nights as Denis Kapisi was so quiet this year. The guys on the pic are not there its managed by Joseph who if I remember right used to be at Richards Place and there are a couple of lads from De ja vu near the old village. I will post some pics of them tomorrow I had a meal in there one night there wasnt much choice but the meal was excellent. We had a laugh with the young pot collector he kept changing my husband ashtray as soon as he flicked a bit of ash in it. They did the usual shows Spice Girls, Full Monty and on our last night I was a bodyguard for Freddy Mercury I must have been a bit tipsy to put on the clothes they gave me everything was on a pile on the floor in a little cupboard like room but it was good fun.

but if you are from ireland and you go on holiday anywhere do you not want something a bit different as to what you are used to seeing and hearing at home after all its a holiday and you go to get away from that all i think anyway!
do you really want to go from ireland always in irish bars and then you come to icmeler ( or anywhere really) into another irish bar??!!??
when i go on holiday i tend to want to get away from home and all the traditions we do and in go into turkey and experience their traditions!
what do you think??
