Travellers Rest

We were supposed to stay at the Travellers Rest but upon arrival the owner Christine wanted to charge us extra for the air conditioning that was supposed to be in with the price quoted. We didn't stay there, but managed to find somewhere else at the last minute.

We have been ripped off by this Christine woman too,not concerning her apartments,but over sandwiches for our journey home,that we paid upfront for the night before,she told us to pick them up at a certain time,but when we got there the place was closed for the end of the season,she obviously knew she was ripping us off when she took our money off us.They were pretty expensive sandwiches too,I might add.

bj can you give us more information about the travllers apts as we are due to stay there in Sept and have also been quoted as air con and transport in the price. powdie

Hi All,

Air conditioning is the only extra you have to pay for here, which you have to do with most apartments and hotels.

Christine and Ramazan are good friends of ours and I know she would not knowingly rip anybody off, maybe you should have a word with her when you go.

The apartments are beautiful and i think the price you pay to stay in them is a bargain compared to others. The included transfer is also a bonus as if you were to book this with a private company it would cost you £100, we did it the other year so find Christines very good.
The pool is also amazing.
