Blue Rainbow 17 days to go

Postby romanticandi » 14 May 2007 18:06

We stayed there a couple of times, and you should have no problem. The rooms are not huge, but do you really want to hold a dance in them?
They are clean and tidy, have a fridge/mini bar and the prices are reasonable if you fancy a cold Efes on returning from the beach. There is a large pool with lots of sunbeds round; but beware if you are taking kids and non swimmers, the pool is deep, even at the shallow end. (I'm talking up to my shoulders at the shallow end - I'm 5'5"). The staff are good, and if you're lucky, you might even get one of the waiters to smile!!! No seriously, they are fine. We had a great time there, but I wouldn't book in for any more than B & B.

Have a great holiday!

Hi you will like the Blue Rainbow stayed there a couple of times nice and clean and staff helpful. I am going next door to the sister hotel Elif on 1 June so will probably see you there (but I dont know how to recognise you) I nip through the rainbow pool every day to get to the beach without passing our bar cos they want me to go on their bit of the beach.

Berni if you walk towards the sea from your hotel (which is a few metres away when your looking towards the sea you need to turn right all the way past the Efes Inn and the Joy Munamar and carry on walking! Cant miss it!

As Doz says just come out of Rainbow through resteraunt doors and walk towards beach past little market stalls turn right you go over a little wooden bridge and past Munamar at end of path keep left and you will come to Denis Kapisi its a good bar with friendly staff. They have shows on and the waiters all do the usual dancing and there is kareoke, some nights we wander back and have the last couple of drinks in Elif bar next to your hotel if there is a few people you can have a laugh in there as well. Cant wait now I have got my case out of loft ready, booked the dogs and cat in kennels so it must be nearly time.
