Blue Star Apartments???

Postby Rachy » 03 May 2007 14:06

I wonder if anyone can help me...

...my parents found a really great deal for these apartments and go 16th May. Now I could remember passing these apartments quite alot last year and assumed they must be in the centre so i told my parents to go ahead and book. On reflection I think i passed these apartments when i used to visit my friend who lived passed the village up near julian forest. My mum isn't in the best of health and if its true that the blue star apartments are far from the centre I'm going to feel awful.

Can someone put me out of my misery and tell me exactly where they are.

Thanks
Rachael xXxXx

Hi Rach, sorry to say but the apart is in old village but not to far away from centre, we walked to there one day last year to see where they were as we met the then owner gordon, but he has since sold it on, but they look very nice apartments and i'm sure your mum & dad will have a fantastic holiday! have they been to icmeler before?
hope this is some help, julie x

Thanks guys!!

Yeah Julie they have been going to Icmeler for years but have always stayed at place's like Dimircioglu. They once stayed at at Club Sun Village but found it was a little too far for mum to walk. If it happens to be too far I'm sure i will be able to find them alternative apartments.

Thanks again for your help.

Hi all,

We're booked in at Blue Star in August. Will be our third time in Icmeler but our first to these apartments.

We stayed in the old village last year and thought the centre would be miles away but when we got there, it was a gentle 10 min stroll to the canal.

The old village is a littler quieter.

I think these apartments are at the other end of the old village rather than the Tansas end. Am I right?

Although this will be my third time, I've never come across Blue Star before.

Is there a way of cutting through the town centre rather than walking all round the Tansas and through the back?? There must be.

Maybe Shaz could tell us the shortest route to and from the Apartments. This way, Rachey will have a better idea if her Mum will be okay. :?

Ok Shaz route to Blue star  i would walk up past the caria medical centre and cut through the little road of the old village the one that takes you by Cafe Rose, and that takes you into the old village, at the end of the village i would turn right then carry on walking in a straight route along the main road and blue star are up on the left handside. It cuts out most of the restaurants etc, and i can always stop at the bakers to pick up my bread from the old village and it gives you a chance to say hello to the locals who are always sitting drinking Chai in the little cafe .

Hi Rachy

We all stayed there in 2004!
Had a great time. We had the top apartment with 2bedrooms.
The food was great, especially the pancakes! :D
We had no promblems, the rooms were always clean & the bed sheets/towels were cleaned regulary!
Think new owners have taken over it since then.
It is in the old village but you can walk or get the bus into the centre.
