We were in Icmeler last week and a shopkeeper made us all a glass of turkish tea,he then put a tiny piece of crystal in each glass,anyone know what the crystal is.

hi peter the crystal is sugar did u like the tea? i dont drink or like tea over here but i drink it wen im in turkey especially the apple tea

hi we bought some tea last year and the crystals we bought were tiny peices of lemon you can put them in hot or cold drinks ie gin vodka or any of the teas also in a glass of hot water thay make a good alternative to lemsip or beechams hot lemon we spent a fortune on all different teas and are still useing them now thay last for ages will be stocking up more in june when we go again the orange is my favorite

yes we loved the tea brought some home with us,is there anywhere here in the uk we can buy some when ours have run out

If we are talking about "proper" tea and not the sherbert stuff then any Deli will sell you black tea
