Hi Eddie & Gwen,
Is this the restaurant thats on the corner,by the canal end?if it is,we had a lovely pancake there last year, and the beer was cheaper than in other places. And as always, lovely people working there. 8)

8) 8) Sorry Fanny,I don't know, hahaha. The place we went to,was down the road where the Moonlight and Traveller Rest is,but the canal end rather than the Travellers Rest end.Stand at the end of the canal, cross the road, turn right, past a few shops, and you come to the restaurant which is on the corner of that road, with the traveller rest at the other end.(if that makes sense)Hope you dont get lost, hahahah

Thanks Debi. Oddly enough I can't quite picture where you mean :? , but as long as there are a few watering holes round there I'm sure we'll be fine!!!
We'll give it a go though - you know how it is on the hunt for cheap beer lol ... the good food would be a bonus esp if we do get lost ha ha ha.

Flight tickets have just arrived today and they've misprinted them so we've got an extra 5 tickets for flying out from Manchester, but none to return home - if only   SO who knows we could still be wandering around when you get there 8)

We're off to Icmeler this Friday for 3 weeks, but only cos it's cheaper than going again in Sept for a week 8) 8)

Just back from Icmeler after spending 1 month there.Must say the best restaurant is the HOLIDAY RESTAURANT,where you will be made very welcome by the owner Mehmet the pancakeman. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. Also Efes 2.5.good value. We were that impressed we ate there 23 evenings out of the 28 we were in Icmeler.Mehmet has just married a Rochdale lass who will also make you very welcome.Would recommend this to anyone. Chef Ali also does a good ottoman. :D :D :D :D

Holiday Restaurant is well worth a visit. Food is lovely and a fair price but the best thing about this place is undoubtedly the staff. You will get a warm welcome where ever your from or whenever you decide to sample their hospitality. Zafer, Ramazan and the whole crew make this a really nice place to spend your holiday. :P :P :P :P :P
