Hi there of to icemeler in June and just wondered on what day the Market is on

The Icmeler one is on a Wednesday and Turunc on a Monday

I like the Turunc market, it's a nice afternoon away, get the water boat over, have lunch, go the market, more drinks on the way back to the boat, ahh bliss can't wait

i like turunc market also but they are the same people who do the Icmeler market arent they so i prefer icmeler as it is only 5 minutes from the apartments so it is not far to carry all my bags back with my bargains

anyone ever been to the market in marmaris? i hated it. have only been once, but it is huge and the people that go arent as friendly as icmeler.

hi can anyone tell me where the market is situated in marmaris and what day also is it the same stall holders as icmeler ? is it dearer ? all replys much appreciated

I wouldn't say its any more expensive than the icmeler market, I have to admit it does get abit crazy and very very busy and damn hot walking aroud the large market, I do like going to the market in marmaris but usually only the once in the two weeks I'm there. I think the market is on a thursday but you cant quote me on that. I can never remember what day it is over there, my mother usually just says its market day lol

Market day in Marmaris is definitely on Thursday. I'm not sure you will enjoy it as much as Icmeler. Most of the stall holders are the same people.

The market in Icmeler is a more spacious and undercover. The one in Marmaris is in what looks like a multi storey carpark. It is quite cramped and very very busy. The traders don't appear to be as friendly but mind you - if I was stuck in a warm crowded place like that for more than an hour, I wouldn't be either!!!

thanks for your replys where about is the marmaris market held although im not sure we will go i enjoy the icmeler one so will probably give it a miss

The Marmais market is off the main strip...sort of hard to explain if u were coming along just after the bars of long beach stop u take an opening on your left and contiue to the top of the road then too your right its a huge building that has a big blue roof and theres always ppl there on market day (thursday) from morning till when it closes so u cant miss it! Its just around the corner from the graveyard if that helps...up past Janas resturant.......My directions suck! xxx
