Was reading on another forum about prices in Marmaris, so prices I would expect to be similar in Icmeler

Efes 9-10 lira

Set chicken meal, with a drink 28 lira

Set steak meal with drink 40 lira

Spirit and mixer 15 lira at BOGOF

I think prices will be very similar to last years prices, well in terms of £, Last year a set chicken meal was about 20 lira,£6.50, this year will be much the same 25 lira. £6.50 ish

Rate is currently just over 4 lira to £ in resort so makes it nice and easy to work out prices

It was not specific about a drink but I would imagine a small beer/coke or a water

Whilst 8 lira for a sunbed appears reasonable, when I was in Olu Deniz the umbrella had to be paid for as well. That would make it 24 lira per day for two people.

Hi Its difficult to generalize, but Olu in my experience is usually much more expensive than Icmeler for everything.

kirky,

you have to remember that Olu Deniz is a small, unspoilt resort. The main resort there is up the hill. We stayed in Olu Deniz a few years back at otel alize which was all inclusive and worth the money as we were told not huge choice in resort as it was only a small place, which it was, may have grown a bit, but until established it will be a bit more expensive.

As for Icmeler, 40YTL for a steak dinner is tremendous value. Cant wait to visit Florida for a plank or T-bone :D

Nice one kev,

We fly out 2nd July (5 weeks today :D ) , arrive middle of night, as is the norm, so 1st morning take my boys for a full Scottish brekkie while the wife unpacks (her choice), and visit Florida at night for half a coo and chips
