Thomas cook informed us on Friday via email that they had changed our plane from them self's to a avion airlines .
We fly on the 7th September from Manchester.
Has anyone flown with this carrier before ?

The fact they only have two planes is making me a bit nervous

Not sure what it is you are worried about - Thomas Cook regularly sub-contract flights to other smaller airlines in this way. A quick look at TA will tell you that they are doing this for various routes, not just Turkey flights - and the small print in their terms and conditions allows them to do so.

Shelly they will more than likely charge you an amendment fee to change flights.
I flew with Pegasus last year & will fly with Sun Express 1 way this year as Thomas Cook operate with other airlines. There really is nothing to worry about :)

I'm not sure where you got that bit of info from but as of last summer Avion operate a fleet of 9x A320s and 2x A319 based around the world.

Oh dear I am a nervous flyer and have never come across this problem before , I did do a little home work on avion as I had never heard of them . They have 2 planes flying out of Manchester , they do do flights around the world as they are Egyptian company.
I just wanted to know if anyone has flown with them .and give me any feed back.
I did not feel the need to read thomas cook terms and conditions as I have flown numerous times with Thomas Cook , a mistake on my part I suppose as I now realise things change

Anyway as long as icmeler is at the other end of my flight , it's all worth it :)))))
