We went to Ephesus quite a few years ago, it was one of the most memorable places I have ever seen. I think it is one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. We went on a 2 day excursion and visited Pamukalle, Cleopatras pool and the shrine of the Virgin Mary. I have forgotten how much it was but it was worth going whatever the cost.
I have posted some pics of Ephesus on the Photos section a while ago, One word of warning, it was a very hot day when we went to Ephesus and there is really no shade so take a hat, or perhaps an umbrella like some Japanese people I saw.

I too went on the Ephesus, Pamukkale, Cleopatras Pool and House of Virgin Mary excursion. Was young at the time, but from what I remember it was magnificent. Once in a lifetime thing. One piece of advice I would give is, use lots and lots of high factor sun lotion when you visit Pamukkale. I'm quite fair and I got extremely badly burnt when there. The suns reflects off of the white and you have no idea how burnt you are getting. Very painful!

I think the price for the ICR trip is very good, I vaguely remember it not being much cheaper 7 years ago. It is tempting me to go again in September! :D
