Hi Sparklegirls,

My recommendation would be the Grand Aquarium which is very family friendly, although it is in the Old Village
They have an entertainment team who organise day & evening entertainment for children and adults.
All areas of the hotel is very clean, Maid service with Fresh towels every day.
The food in the Restaurant is great.
I would recommend checking TA where you will see they have great reviews and repeat customers.

I hope This Helps

Greenworld, which is at the back of the village, is also a family friendly complex and has entertainment to keep children occupied. The dolmus terminus is outside the complex and taxis also sit there much of the time. If you feel like walking there's many nice places to stop off for a refreshment/snack and also several play parks dotted around the village area.

Thank you both for your replies my mum has star at grand aquarium before & was all positive too.

I will have a look at both half our party prefer self catering other half prefer hotel so I'm trying to find the right place that would suit everyone without us splitting up across different accommodations. Preferably would love everyone at same place!

People have mentioned to us about Julian forest, ekinci palace & prince apartments - has anyone any views on these?

Many thanks again 8)

Julian Forest is next door to Greenworld and I understand is now all inclusive. They also have a water slide and as far as I am aware an entertainments programme. I have not stayed at any of the others so cannot comment. Although Greenworld is self catering we always had breakfast and lunch in their restaurant which was very good and reasonably priced and went out to dine in the evening. Given the number of lovely restaurants in Icmeler we prefer self catering but I can understand others wanting to go to a hotel. Hope you manage to find somewhere that suits everyone. A phone call to the staff at Icmeler Online would give you good advice/guidance and assist you make the right choice.

Thank you sunlover Loch Lomond for your reply!
I certainly will contact icmeler online closer to making the booking!
Your entirely correct with so many fantastic places & options for eating s/c seems the best option!
The furthest back in the old village we have stayed is grand aquarium is the greenworld a lot further back?
How long would you say it is to the centre of icmeler from greenworld? For example to the square.

It is a while since I was as far back in the village but if I remember correctly it is about another 10 minute walk from Tommy's restaurant and only a few minutes on the dolmus to Greenworld. Walking to the Square I think would take approx 30-40 minutes and about 10 on the dolmus. The one benefit we found in Greenworld was the 2 bedroom apartment also had an en suite and a separate bathroom which was very useful when several people were getting ready to go out.
