Grand Aquarium Apartments Icmeler

Just booked to go to the Grand Aquarium Apartment for a week at the end of August, can anyone give me any info on this place as it will be our first time Thanks

They're at the back of the resort - but the dolmus stops nearby if you don't fancy the walk into the centre. Popular place, gets good reviews and a lot of repeat customers - which is always a good sign. Hopefully someone who has actually stayed there may be able to tell you a bit more about them.

Hi,
We Fly out on Thursday to Grand Aquarium for our 6th Year in a Row.

Although it is further back in the Old Village it is not too far from the centre if you enjoy a short walk.
You can also get a Dolmus(1.5 TL/ person) from outside Tommy,s restaurant or a Taxi( 8 to 10 TL) to the Beach.

All areas of the hotel is very clean, Maid service with Fresh towels every day.

Sally the Hotels Customer Services manager was very friendly and helpfull.

Hassan & Robbie in the restaurant are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble for them, terrific guys.
The food in the Restaurant is great(huge portions) and is not any more expensive than eating out.

The entertainment team are around all day, keeping you up to date on what was going on and inviting to you participate in Aqua Gym, Darts, Pool etc without pressurising you. They also organised all the evening entertainment for the children and adults.

Overall I cannot fault the Hotel or Staff who must take a lot of credit for making your holiday enjoyable & trouble free.

Hi Niknar Thanks for you info, i must admit all the reviews we have read have been very good. We know where Tommys is coz we have been to icmeler a couple of times before and eaten at Tommys. Me my mum and Daughter are going to icmeler on the 11th of Aug for a week so i think while we are there we will nip up and see where the Grand Aquarium is. I cant wait only home from icmeler 11 days then fly back out again

Are you sure that you are allowed 2 Holidays to Icmeler ????

Yes, it's just a few minutes' walk further back than Tommy's, and yes, you can catch the dolmus there.

Lol i know im lucky to be going twice so close together, we are not bothered that its out of the main bit like you say there is the Dolmus and taxis

Sorry to keep asking questions but I am interested to know what the situation is with late check out. Should I try to book with Jet2 before going or wait until I am there? In other places I have paid £20 for late check out and am more than happy to pay that but would like to have it quaranteed. Any advice would be welcome.

Might be worth contacting the Grand Aquarium directly and asking how much they would charge? Sometimes it works out cheaper just to book an extra day...

Yes Blondie I have done that too and at least we were guaranteed the room until we left. I will look into that and do you have contact details for GA so that I can contact them direct?
