Geordie1970 You are right about the charges which can be considerable depending on the bank card you use. I discovered this to my cost a few years ago hence the reason I use the Halifax Clarity Card which was recommended by Martin Lewis as there's no withdrawal or conversion charges. There are others with no charges too so maybe worth checking out for the future.

I am in resort at the moment and the best rate was yesterday Friday 13/6 at Wembley bar.It was 3.54.Bring your money over here would be my suggestion.Have a great time.It is scorchio at present!!

Interbank rate at 3.63 to the £ you should get mid to late 3.50's in resort
still on the rise due to Bank of England saying interest rates may go up this year
