A bit of excitement I think mansy, dont blame you.
Geordie I'll keep an eye out for you serving in one of the bars when im there and if you are id have to shake your hand as I'd love to do that- just not go back. I say that all the time to my husband that im just not going back or we could "accidentally" miss the bus orplane and just have to stay :)

Ha ha .... Me and Mrs G are 'newbies' really to Icmeler, this will only be our 4th visit in 2 years .... But since we 1st ever arrived I've always wanted to stay and not come back! Lol :D

It's a shame we all don't go at the same time, be good to share an Efes or 20 with everyone on a night out!

I'm still waiting for a free Drink off Mansy, but she was too shy to say 'hello' in Tandoori Sizzler last year, even though she recognised me and Mrs G from my descriptions  ... One day I'll get it Mansy! Lol

Yeah it would be good if there were a few of us there at the same time wouldn't it. We just miss you this year geordie, we fly out on the 18th july.
Id be a bit nervous as well mansy just in case I made a fool of myself and went and said hello to the wrong person and they didn't have a clue what I was going on about lol. If I was certain it was the right person I'd be ok lol

Geordie1970, you could always book for return visit to Icmeler 22nd September, then we'd be there at the same time again and you could definitely claim your free drink from me.

Daisysun, you hit the nail on the head, I wasn't sure if it was Geordie & Mrs G & I didn't want to make a fool of myself speaking to the wrong person. I may be a bit gobby on here, but in real life I am painfully shy if I don't know someone.

Never mind eh geordie1970, there will be other years when you'll be in Icmeler & we'll be there too, so at some time in the futer we will cross paths again. The free drink offer still stands.

Grandson fell off his micro scooter this afternoon, the handlebar has hit him in the face, dug in, just below his eye, which is now black/yellow/green in various shades. Stitches in his face, thank god it missed his eye, he could have been blinded. Also thank god it didn't happen last week on my watch.

Let me go on holiday pretty quick, please.

Well, with just 17 hours 'till we leave for the airport, we have been running round like headless chickens for the last 30 minutes.

Bloody kids !!
Our son is looking after our dog "supposedly". He is taking her to his house to stay with them, with 17 hours to lift off, now he tells me he can't have her 'till Thursday night at 8pm. Reason- he has to start work at 4am on Thursday and the daughter in law says she can't walk 4 dogs !! (They have 3, which we look after when they go away).
So angry, sorry for my rant but it's made me feel better.
A kind neighbour has volunteered to take her until our son & daughter in law decide to collect her.

I know what to say now when asked to collect our grandson from school & look after him in school holidays -- NO !

Rant over.

Roll on 11-15am tomorrow..........

Go on Mansy!! .... Get it all off your Chest!

Bad crack that he's left it so late mind  ... And yep I'd agree about the 'don't have the kids after School!' Lol  .... It's called 'PAYBACK' ....

Lucky you anyway, only a few hours to go and then it is 10 days of bliss or is it only the 7???

Thanks Geordie1970, it's 10 days and you never know it could end up being for ever.

After all, we are newly retired and have all the time in the world to do what we want NOW...

I think you may have mentioned it once....or twice.......or !!!!!

We can all dream, and yours is to retire to warmer shores. No harm in that Geordie, hope your dream becomes reality.

Son just rang to see if we are "cool" about the disruption.....aaaarrrrrggggggghhhhhh.

Probably scared of being left nowt in our will  now that would shock 'em

Case lids now nailed down, if it ain't in there now, it ain't going. My nails are done. Passports checked, visa's checked, tickets checked, money checked.
Weigh in at slimming world 9am, hair done 9-30am, home, bath, changed & off we go....yipppppeeeee
