As always it was great, temps of 36 / 38 by day and a little cooler in the evenings, a bit breezy some nights but still not cardi weather. Exchange rates fab, 3.20 most of the week.

Now back to the washing, ironing & cooking...... Oh well only 8 months 1 week 'till the next visit.

Geordie1970, did a bit of Geordie spotting Saturday, Sunday & Monday, met loads but failed to spot you. We were in tandoori sizzler Saturday night, tall bloke with glasses & blonde wife must have thought he'd got an admirer 'cause I kept looking at him just in case it was you. Those forum member name tags look like a must for next visit.

Lmao Mansy! (Just got back at 2.45am) ... Was that you last Saturday!

Sitting opposite me on a table with 4? Mr Mansy had a goaty off memory??? .., you had grey hair and glasses? ... If so you should have spoke, but then again I was sitting there thinking 'is that Mansy?, open your mouth so I can check for a gap in the teeth'.... Defo need to wear some ICR name badges next year!

On the down side Mrs G is talking about July for our next visit .... That's nearly 10 months away!

Anyway did you have a good hol Mansy?

Had a fantastic week thanks, 36 ish all week ( sorry you didn't have the same).

No, Mr M not got goatie, I'm a definite blonde, not grey (or so it says on the bottle) if it looks grey I will sue my hairdresser, it cost me a weeks pension
Just the 2 of us at the table, I kept flashing the nashers at the other diners, must have looked a right nutter !!

The couple I thought might be you, bloke had a blue & white striped top on, can't remember what the lady had on, I'd possibly had a couple of vodkas by then. The table behind us had 4 sitting at it, they were a bit loud.

Hope you had a good week, despite the weather & power cut.

Cheers Mansy .... I'm too upset to work out my countdown! ... But if I have my way we'll squeeze a sneaky warm up week late May before we arrive for our 2 weeks in July!

Thinking about staying at the Munamar Beach in July All-inclusive, although we would be going out for the odd meal on an evening and definitely support the local Bars etc ... We'll see anyway and if you can recommend somewhere for B&B for May it would be appreciated ... Cheers ... Paul

No problem Geordie1970, We always go in an apartment self catering. Cornflakes for breakfast, go out for cooked breakfast possibly twice during holiday, can't resist at 99p. We stay at Sunblue Apartments, on the road that runs behind venice/gandol. Small, Family run by a lady called Zenith, It is lovely and quiet, very clean, not posh but comfy. It was fully booked in September so had to stay at Avlu 1, near Tanzas. It's good but not a patch on Sunblue. We had to book for next June as soon as we got home after our June holiday. Not good at recommending holidays to others.

If I can definitely get my dates, then its 175 sleeps for me. As soon as new year was over, my mind immediately turned to holidays.

156 sleeps & counting, I fly out just as the World Cup is starting.

Even though Turkey aren't in it I know how much the locals love their football.

Excited!!! :D
