Deniz Kapisi

Postby anniepannie » 28 Sep 2013 21:04

I must just add a bit of praise for Deniz kapisi. This place has been going for years but this year must be its best. I have been several times and the Turkish breakfast is the best I have had anywhere in Turkey. The terrace restaurant is really good with large helpings and live music every evening. The staff are very good particularly Hasan on the door. Nothing is too much trouble and he will do anything to ensure you have a good time. Thanks for all your help

Funnily enough, this year was the first time we have actually been to the Deniz Kapisi - we decided to give it a go after a recommendation about their Turkish breakfasts which, as you say, must be about the best around! Their part of the beach is also very good - nice and relaxing. Haven't eaten there in the evenings, but would definitely recommend the Turkish breakfasts to anyone - kept us going all day!

Out of all the times I've been to Icmeler I've only been here once and this was on an evening for a late drink and dance. I think they have done the place up quite a bit since that time and with the decking area does look really nice and I think I might have to go there next year. Quite a good walk along and down from the Old Village too. :)
