Hi All!

Heading to Icmeler on 1st October this year! Have been 4 times before, but this is the first time I will be there as a married woman and more importantly it's the first time my husband has been abroad! Haven't been to Icmeler for 3 years so don't know what is still there and what isn't! Any ideas on the best places to eat and drink??

Hi,

The Pop Inn is a must, the food is great and Oscar makes everyone feel so welcome, also - if it's just you and your husband the dancers will get you up for a dance!!!

The Waterfall and Oscars fun pub are great too!!!

I have to agree about the Pop Inn, it is so lively in here with a great atmosphere and all the staff make you feel so welcome, they really do go out of their way to make sure you have a great night and that you enjoy yourself.

I am sure wherever you decide to spend your time, you will have a great time no matter what.

Happy holidays xxx

For a really nice meal in a fabulous setting I would suggest The Love Boat. I adore it there and couldn't go to Icmeler each year without at least one visit!!
Have a great holiday!! :D

Hi Laura

if like me and my family you like to sit down on sunday afternoon for the traditional sunday roast, then you HAVE to try 'The Dream Three Bells' which i am reliably ( through this forum) informed has changed its name to 'The Dream' there sunday roast is to die for, and what ever meat you select you get the biggest yorkshire pudding you will ever see.......
Location, head for the tansas its a very large Green building with Santa Clause climbing up it
also if you are on the beach and fancy a lunch time snack try Coco beach( located on the beach......of all places) there kebabs are awesome

hope this helps, have a good time

another one to try is 'The Olde Famous Kitchen' there food is very good. if you do go there watch out for a tipsy liverpudlian in the corner it will probably be John ( from ICR) im sure he will buy you a drink!!!!!!!!

The Lighthouse and Chef restaurants - both in the centre of Icmeler and the Wayside, just around the corner from the Tansas.
For lunchtime snacks the Erdem cafe on the beach is great and very cheap.
For quiet drinks - the Magic Garden is lovely (behind the Golden Moon next to the Lighthouse) and of course the Cafe del Mar (walk along the beach path heading towards Mamaris it's just up the slope past the Laguna Hotel - fabulous views over Icmeler from here).
And of course for a bit of action The Venice and the Dreamboys and Friends bar.
I'm sure your husband will love it!

I would have to recommend the Majestic on the canal. The Chinese food is amazing there! Also the entertainment is really good a bit later on.

The Dream Three Bells is near to the beach and not the one noted for its Korean food near Tansas with Santa climbing up the front of it

We loved the food at the Lighthouse, Wayside, Chef, Taj Mahal,Meysen (heading towards old village past Babadan aparts), Cafe Rose and Traveller's Rest if you fancy a taste of home. Basically, everywhere we tried :)

Wayne, the place with the huge yorkshires is The Three Bells, near Tansas and not Dream three bells which is nearer the beach.

Hi Sue......

Where is the Nefis Pede? I haven't heard of it before.
My family love to try "real Turkish food" so this place sounds right up our street.
Thanks
Me :)

Nefis is on the road to the village from the cash machines.

The word is pide and is a type of pizza but cooked on the premises as they make it,

Try the meat with egg and green chilli and of course a glass of Ayran
