Hi all

Have just posted my first ever holiday review on here! Please have a read and let me know what you think, as it's the first time I've ever done one and would like some feedback on how much I waffled on ;)

Thanks everyone!!

Great review and I didn't think you waffled on. Good on Dr Murat to the rescue - wish he lived near me.

Hi Gene! Yes we did meet at Buffalo...you kindly let me hoick myself and my cast up on the back of your chair!! Lol... Not packed in the smoking yet :( terrible I know!! Glad you enjoyed the review!

Sharon1960 my wonderful, funny, beautiful aunt did a fantastic job of looking after me (not only whilst I was in the leg cast, but for the whole 3 weeks!) She's an absolute star and the holiday wouldn't have been the same without her!! If Carlsberg made aunties...... ;) love you Minnie!

Great review, it made lovely reading. Sorry about your mishap but I did find it quite disturbing that the nurse you met told you there was no break- My Mum and I are nurses and there is no way you can check any bones are not broken without an X-ray, thank goodness Dr Murat saw you, although there were no bones broken it could have taken much longer to get on your feet without the cast.

Thanks Chocoholic!! Glad it wasn't a break in the end as that would definitely have ruined the holiday!!

To be honest I was in so much pain at the point when the nurse took a look at my ankle, that if she'd have said she was a plumber I still would have let her check it out ;) The things you do for reassurance hey?!

Sian, an absolutely brilliant review. I loved reading it. Now, you must tell me where Canary Bar is as even though I met a very nice looking lad this year, there's nothing wrong in looking per say

Canary Bar is near the top of the Canal, on left hand side. Used to be called the Korsan a couple of years ago.

The canal that runs from the sea front back?
I stay in the Old Village and of course the dry canal runs through there and I always get confused with where people mean. But if you do mean the one from the sea back, then I will check it out next May. :D

Hi Sami - glad you enjoyed the review!

Yes, the canal that runs from the sea front back! If you're coming from the beach, then it's on the right hand side! It's just up from Venice.

You definitely need to check it out - we had some of our best nights in there with the lads!! And there is absolutely nothing wrong with a bit of "window shopping" ;) LOL!!
