Unbelievable!!

Postby Keith » 04 Oct 2012 18:32

Just watched an advert again on ITV from Jet2.com stating that they are flying to Turkey from £39.00. If anybody manages to buy a flight to Turkey for £39.00 please let me know, cos not that i am sceptical but i dont believe them!!!

Why do these airlines get away with advertising prices that are not available? Even if there had ever been a flight at £39.00 (probably only one though), that price would obviously sell out really fast so they should be made to change their advert to a price that is available. Its very misleading to say the least

Yes, I know about their cheap flights from previous years- ridiculously cheap to get there and more than the cost of return tickets of all the other airlines to get back. I don't even check their prices now.

I checked every airline the other night for several airports (no, I don't have a life!) and the cheapest flights were J2 for the ones we can travel from. Flight back was the cheapest too - £80.99. That's the cheapest I have ever seen, and I check their website regularly as you don't need to book extra legroom on their planes, I've never never seen a flight cheaper than what I've just got that return leg for. And they've changed the loyalty scheme! On the plus side, I got a free hold bag so guess that's all ok
