Bar-Name Change

Postby redrhino12 » 29 Jan 2007 12:14

"The Dream Three Bells" will be known now as "The Dream"
I suppose this will be the begining of a lot of name changing of the bars and restaurents for the coming season along with a lot of bars changing hands.
Sweetys Bar on the opposite corner to the 3(4) bells on the top road near tansas has been taken over by Leon ex Deniz Kapisi and Alvaro.
The Alvaro restaurent and bar is now a bank.
Anyone else with any info? Taz,Shaz?

Hi Gene & everyone
have heard that "No limits" has been taken over, from a couple of the guys from De ja Vue, so this bar will have a new name soon. At the moment its still a bit early in the season to note all the changes until the new owners start the work on the places around Feb/March. Im back there very soon and we will update everyone as soon as we see any changes. Taz is on the lookout at the moment.

Another name change for all those staying in and around the "Tuncay Apartments"
The Mr. Chef Restaurent near the Tuncay is to be re-named the "Reflections" for this coming season.
Sahli will still be there along with his co-partner Murat.

Bec has decided not to go over for the season now Col. but I hope she is in Icmeler sometime through the summer.
Wish I was going to the Tuncay now.

Tracy, Are the same staff at Pulse 8 and is it really an Irish bar with Irish music or is it just the name? I'm only asking cos we always try to visit Pulse8 but there weren't many people in last year?

Hi Skilly we used to spend lots of time in Pulse 8 but last year it was very quiet.A lot of the original staff that had been there for a few years had moved on, shame really but I guess this happens all the time.

With regards to pulse 8 Bar, Not sure if it will be the same staff or not. Rumour has it that it will be opening here on St Patricks day. Lots of the restaurants and bar owners are here getting the places ready for the season. The bar just up from Romance has now changed it name to Six Nations. Sweety Bar has been taken over i believe with someone called Leon. Bullshits is still there, and chill bar is here, Work is carrying on at Heat n Breeze, and the Buffalo Tavern is open and having music nights there on some saturday evenings.Tomorrow night i believe its music from the 50s 60s and 70s. At the end of the canal we have a new bridge, and they have been putting in some rather nice boulders/rocks leading down to the sea. Any more news will let you all know.
