I agree with reesy, some of the waiters are not so innocent. They should respect our culture also, including women who go topless as it is drummed into us to respect other cultures who live in our country.
I know I said in a previuos post that i would not go topless but its is not against the law and it would be made so if it was such a wicked thing to do

Yes, yes and yes. People from all over the world been doing so from as far back as I can remember (1987) and never heard of this being a problem....there was even a "nude beach" called the French Beach near icmeler back in the time..

Without getting into cultural differences, religions etc, all I can say is, YES, and there are probably tons of women at the beach right now who sunbath topless. As soon as you are off the beach, you would do the same as you do anywhere else and cover the boobies

Everyone seems to be having a pop at the british women!! What about the Russian and Germans?? Obviously you havent been on the beach with them. I go topless but always cover up to go in the water or to the bars. Why shouldnt I get a good tan when im there? I dont think I look too bad for my age, but if you are going to say something then why not also comment on the not so young guys wearing skimpy speedos!!!! We've just come back, and for the first year, I commented on how few women were topless on the beach, compared to other years. Actually it made a refreshing change not to see women who shouldnt, doing it!!!

Having only returned from lovely Icmeler at 3am this morning, I just had to comment. Personally, I wouldn't go topless and I am not a prude but having seen plenty of topless this last 2 weeks, I think the majority should cover up - not pretty sights! I don't know why they want their boobs tanned; are they go to flash them once they are back in the UK Everybody to their own but some of these sights to me are quite revolting

Or at least their belly buttons! I've got nothing against it but all I think is that if you are one that likes to, have a look around and if no-one else is, then don't be the odd one out. I always think at close proximity for instance round the pool, its not nice to be faced with a big old pair of boobs.
