New Impressions

Well arrived Friday for three weeks in the Julian Forest which is (as always) gorgeous. As we were tired from the journey, last night was the first that we had ventured into town and I would just like to share my thoughts with you. The new square is just lovely with a few stalls and people milling around it is charming. The new stalls on canal do not have the same atmosphere as the old ones and although they are starting to fill up, they are right down at the bottom of the canal (they do seem a little more expensive - but obviously this is to cover the large rents that they are paying here) and although the new lighting and paving is a nice addition it is just not as nice as it was (but much better than last year). Temperatures are great and prices still seem reasonable. I know that recently it had been discussed how quiet things are but last night seemed busy enough with bars and restaurants fairly filling so hopefully things are picking up on this score. I will post again later in the week but for now there is a lot of sun to soak up

Have a great holiday sunlover we will be there in just over 5 weeks and it can't come soon enough. We have left it a bit later than normal this year so seems like an eternity since we was there. Last night we booked our holiday again for next year and going back in July so hopefully it won't feel so bad.
