How much lira a day

Postby Elissa24 » 27 Jun 2012 08:48

Hiya I haven't been to Icmeler since 09 and friends have told me about price increases plus this the first time going with no parents. So i was wondering, how much lira would i need roughly a day when I am self catering? How much are drinks out there at the minute?

the last time i went was 2010,I,ve never spend more than 70 pounds a day which is about 190 liras in todays exchange rate, and its alot better than 2 are 3 years ago and that is for my wife and myself........I was getting about 2.40 then today you should get above 2.70 ,so despite inflation you should still be o.k. with around 70 to 80 pounds.........unless you do drink a real lot.

I would say you'll be fine with that, we spent roughly £65 a day between 2 of us including trips and lots of shopping, tattoo's and other stuff - basically had a very nice time on that amount - half that for one and you're about at 100tl :D

Hi, it really does depend on how much you like to drink, and how much you eat out.
My husband and i, buy duty free Vodka and Bacardi at Dalaman, eat out every night, usually set meal, sometimes have brekkie or a lunch snack, do 3 or 4 trips, bring usual souveniers home, a small amount of other shopping, and we budget on 100 lira for both of us a day.
Cant wait till this Sept when we return :D

My budget was 92 Lira per day (I exchanged £500) for the two weeks... this is ample!
Unless of course, you want to go mad and buy lots of fake designer handbags, shirts, jewellery etc...

In fact you'd probably, if careful, be able to live on less than that!
