I don't know about this year, but our favourite was over the past couple of years was from Venice. Not *quite* traditional, but lovely all the same.

The new 3 Bells can hardly be beaten for their Yorkshire puddings alone :D

Go up to the Old Village and visit Sidik's Family Restaurant. Pre-order a leg of lamb. Fantastic! Sidik and his family are so lovely, and they will always make you feel very welcome. His steak is the best. Can't wait to see them all at the end of July. Six weeks to go!!!! The countdown is on.

Tried a number of places over the years but the best is the Three(4) Bells, yes their Yorkshire puddings are massive and is their main advertising point but the meal is actually very good and I've never managed to finish the Yorkshire.

If your wife likes lamb go for a slow cooked lamb any night of the week, it's fantastic, you normally need to order 24 hours ahead and normally for two people.
